Bluffton's pathway board recently received two significant donations to its 2020 project, extending the Bentley Road pathway from Riley Creek Village to Riley Street. Blanchard Valley Health System provided a $5,000 donation, announced at last Friday's chamber breakfast.

This year's Ride to Remember was, well, a "ride to remember." Despite temperatures in the upper 90s last Saturday, with a heat index of 110, bicyclists, nonetheless, came from all over.
Hop on your bike for a memorable ride
The Bluffton Lions Foundation will host the Fifth annual Ride to Remember on Saturday, July 20, starting at the Bluffton Family Recreation Center, 215 Snider Road. Cyclists can participate in four offered routes that feature points of interest around Bluffton, ranging in distance from two to 63 miles.
Bike ride to raise funds for Bluffton trail system
A ride to commemorate former Bluffton residents Ropp and Mary Emma Triplett will raise funds to build additional bike paths in Bluffton. The fifth annual “Ride To Remember” is July 20 beginning at 6:30 a.m. with a mass at 8 a.m. and routes open until 4 p.m.

Samuel Diller named Lions Club 2018 Citizen of the Year
Samuel W. Diller will receive the Bluffton Lions Club 2018 Citizen of the Year award during a dinner in his honor on Tuesday, April 16, in the town hall.
A "much safer" Bentley Road opens with new pedestrian pathway
Bluffton’s Lions Way Bentley Road Pathway had it christening on Tuesday. The celebration recognized the .9 mile extension of the pathway project, now it its ninth year.
The event recognizes the pathway extension from Augsburger-Elm south along Bentley Road to the bridge near Kibler Street.
